T&T Header Tanks!

Who needs a header tank? Almost everyone who flies a heli! It's an old wives tail that the tanks solve fuel draw problems caused by poor main tank location. BUT, these tanks ABSOLUTELY prevent your engine from sucking air when the main tank gets low - because the header tank stays FULL until the main tank is empty. A MUST HAVE for any heli pilot flying aerobatics!

They have the same high-quality Hayes 2-oz tank as most of the others, but that's where the similarity ends. The T&T Machined stopper with o-ring is the best seal flying and is easier to install and remove than the stock plastic unit.

The machined mounting brackets are a great, snug fit on the tank. The aluminum should last a lifetime. Drilled for installation with standard 3mm bolt.

The T&T tanks are available with your choice of Purple or Sliver anodized brackets as shown above. We have the best prices ANYWHERE on these tanks and even lower prices for buying 2 or more. Call toll free or visit the HeliProz catalog site to order yours!

By the way, in case you haven't installed one of these tanks here's the plumbing layout. The carb is hooked to the FUEL line of the header tank. The VENT on the header is hooked to the FUEL (Clunk) line of the main tank. The vent on the main tank is the muffler pressure line. To fuel you just unhook the line from the engine to the header and fill the header, which then dumps fuel to the main tank.
Related items you may want to check out are the 3-way filters, hi-nitro fuel line and heavy clunks - all in stock. The fuel shutoff clips from JR are also a nice accessory, as are the fuel line plugs with retainers (especially if you use the 3-line filters!)

For the best value WIHOUT the machined outlet nipple, check out the DBC Header Tanks (about half the price!)
