T-Rex 450 Superior Edition (eCCPM) represents the state of
the art in micro helicopter technology, utilizing the latest
design techniques and highest material quality, aluminum parts
are anodized in a pleasant blue color and silver SSG carbon assembly.
This kit is for the flyers who want uncompromised performance
and quality. 80% pre-assembled! New CNC SSG carbon frame only
1mm, improve the rigidity and perfect for 3D flying. New CCPM
version, new aluminum parts for prompt, precision actions. SSG
battery mounting plate connects to main frame makes the center
of gravity closed to rotor blade. Rigid CNC aluminum rotor head
for precision and smooth movements. New streamlined carbon tail
rotor blades makes the gyro more efficient. New tail rotor control
set, CNC control piece and movable ball link for smooth pitch
travel. CNC Metal tail unit and tail holder. New gear ratio(4.24:1),
suitable for the motor with higher KV. Aluminum alloy drive
pulley and tail drive pulley. All stainless steel linkage ball,
wear resistant and anti-oxidization. Tail rotor hub is made of
stainless steel, very rigid.

on the market, BAR NONE! Standard 450XL are great value, under
$300 with motor and controller .Very nice flying electric.
Slightly larger than the Shogun, Belt drive tail, kit includes
3 sets of blades, new upgrade swashplate (Feb 04, metal upper)
and a standard mix control system similar to Raptor. Boom mounted
tail servo is standard.Motor and controller (35amp) ARE NOT included,Add
a 3-cell LiPo, (we prefer ThunderPower 2100s) (3) HiTec HS55s
and one HS 50 for tail and speed control along with small gyro
(Align, 401 or CSM200) and receiver and you are ready to fly.
For the CCPM version you probably want to use Digital servos
to minimize interaction (as on glow helis with CCPM). Other servos
choices abound, call us for options. All the guys at HeliProz
have built and flown the T-Rex so we can probably help you decide
which kits and options are the best for your needs and budget.

Above - very nice frame set and control system similar to
Raptor. (this is the original grey 450X, or V2, version) Rear
Servo Mount is standard, and the kit includes 3 pinions (3mm
bore) so you can tune for your own taste. Belt drive tail is
virtually maintenance free.
Below - Newest Version T-Rex 450XL (V3) shown with
several nice upgrades. The XL/V3 Models have many improvements
over the V2s, including more bearings and a much tighter head
and control system. The longer boom is standard on theV3s. Available
in Standard Mix or CCPM versions.

Parts AS THEY come - Frames are mostly assembled with machined
blocks and spacers in the upper frames. Entire head and control
system is assembled on mast, you only need to add seesaw, flybar,
and flybar control arm set. Tail case is assembled, with lever,
slider and grips all installed. |
