Here's all the stuff that you probably want to know about. The main thing you need to know is that we are in this business to provide a level of caring, competent support and service that is far better than the "norm" in the RC industry, with extremely competitive pricing on ALL of the things we sell - not just a few selected big items.

We have a full retail hobby store located in Billings, MT and we just recently upgraded to a HUGE facility with 20 acres of flying space so stop by if you are ever in Big Sky Country!

Please understand that we generally have NO control over availability of products and pricing. Either is subject to change without further notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors in any media.

Free Shipping Policies

 Orders of $100 or more get FREE standard shipping in all 50 states and to our soldiers at APO/FPO's!**

Yet another reason to love HeliProz! We now offer US Priority Mail shipping for our customers that prefer postal shipments. There are some stipulations such as package size, but this will allow for our customers to have smaller packages delivered quickly and with more delivery days than UPS.

**Large packages are NOT included when using the US Postal service. We will help with the shipping to get it into the smallest but still safe package. The USPS has dimensional regulations that can skyrocket the cost of shipping on larger packages. It will be up to you whether you would like to pay that cost in order to use the postal service or choose UPS. We will still cover UPS Ground Shipping on ALL orders over $100, regardless of size!!

Basic Shipping Information

On WEB (only) orders UNDER $100 we charge a flat $7.99 for UPS ground. No matter the weight, no matter if it's oversize. Phone orders under $100 pay whatever the actual shipping charge is. We'll charge you OUR LOWEST IN-STORE PRICE (even if it's lower than what's posted!) for the merchandise. The FREE UPS Ground and small package USPS offer ALSO applies to all phone orders!

We ship via UPS and USPS. For any other method of shipping do NOT order via the web store - call or e-mail us to make arrangements. ORDER MONDAY thru FRIDAY by 5 PM EASTERN AND YOUR ORDER WILL SHIP THAT DAY!! (That's 4 Central, 3 MST and 2PM West Coast).

Note, WE CHARGE ONLY whatever the current rates are (regardless of order size) for UPS 3-Day, 2-Day (Blue Label) and Overnight (Red Label) shipping. Please send a note if you place an order on Friday and want Saturday delivery. UPS charges an additional $15 for this service. You can go to ups.com or usps.com to see the rates, our zip is 59102. Just remember that UPS charges based on SIZE for all air services - most 30 helis are billed at 25# rate, 60 helis at 43# rate. We still also pay HALF of 3-day UPS shipping to help make a quicker and less expensive transit time to our east coast customers. The amount is calculated at checkout.

Same Day UPS/U.S. Priority Mail Shipping

Any WEB order placed on a business day by no later than 5PM Eastern Time (that's 4pm in Chicago, 3PM in Denver and 2PM in California...) WILL BE SHIPPED via UPS that same day. If not, WE will pay the shipping or upgrade to 1-day faster method at our cost. Non-US orders DO NOT get this guarantee due to added paperwork and processing times. UPS PHONE orders placed by 6:00 PM EST WILL SHIP SAME DAY. U.S. Postal Orders must be placed over the phone by 5 PM EST as the postal service has an earlier pickup time.

NOTE - We manually e-mail you when we retrieve the web store orders from the secure server. If you do NOT get an e-mail within 24 hours then something went wrong and you should contact us.

On some items we may have pricing that's actually LESS than what we are allowed to show on the web site or in our ads. So what if you order one of those items via the web store - will you pay more? ABSOLUTLEY NOT! If the current in-store price is less than what the web site shows, we'll REDUCE THE CHARGES for the order and shipping.

Ordering Info

Our SECURE ON-LINE STORE has all of our products listed. Not completed with all pictures or long description, but you can see what we are selling, what price*, whether it's in stock and then you can ORDER it through a SECURE server.

*NOTE: On many items, such as Align, OS engines, Futaba radios and Gyros, JR Radios, Gyros and Helis, we CAN NOT POST OUR ACTUAL SELLING PRICES. This is due to the "Minimum Advertised Price" policies of these distributors. Most of these items will say "Call for pricing," but rest assured we are almost always the BEST PRICE IN THE COUNTRY and we will AUTOMATICALLY ADJUST THE PRICE to our actual, lower selling price when we process your order.

We don't like the MAP price crap, and some vendors are apparently incapable of enforcing it, so you will sometimes see these items advertised elsewhere at lower prices, against the policies in force. WE DO NOT DO THAT - we treat our suppliers honestly and fairly just as we treat our own customers honestly and fairly. BUT WE ALMOST ALWAYS HAVE THE BEST ACTUAL PRICES! 

You will find every product we have (and some we're already out of) with pricing and ordering information, along with SEARCH, REVIEW and CHECKOUT functions. We will UPDATE the availability status EVERY BUSINESS day to try to avoid having you order items we're out of. You should get an e-mail response to your order within several hours (during business days!). 

Needless to say, if you have any problems with the on-line ordering process you can call us and we'll get them solved. NOTE! You should have your browser set to ACCEPT COOKIES for the store to operate properly. No, we don't collect secret information on your bootlegged software or what lingere sites you've been visiting - the store software just uses the cookies to identify who you are and to authenticate that it is actually you throughout the order/checkout process.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal for payment.

MAP Pricing Policies

Yeah, we know that some of our competitors conveniently "forget" and post prices lower than the distributor's "MAP" (Minimum Advertised Price) or "SMRP" ("Suggested" Minimum Retail Pricing). So from time to time, those who break the rules will "appear" to have lower pricing than HeliProz.

We don't much care for the SMRP's and MAPs, but we try hard to be just as honest and open with our suppliers as we are with our customers. So we spend a lot of time checking to make sure we are in compliance. Great Planes, Horizon Hobby and Ace will not allow us to have any pricing below THEIR smrp or map shown in ANY printed advertisement OR ON OUR WEB SITE!

Of course, they are quick to point out that they can't tell us what to actually CHARGE you for the products (that would be an illegal price-fixing issue) - just what we can SHOW you.

Bottom line is this - WE FOLLOW THE RULES - BUT - WE ARE PRETTY OFTEN THE BEST PRICE! (Not even counting the free shipping and best service!) So give us a call.  We don't mind, use the toll free number! Or you can e-mail us if you prefer. For any OS Engine, for any Futaba or JR Radio or Gyro or Servo, or for any brand Helicopter, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR... Give HeliProz a Call!

NOTE - Our parts, tools, and accessories pricing are most often NOT subject to these rules so they are posted at the actual selling price. PLUS, remember that we ALWAYS GIVE YOU THE BEST PRICE - if the web store shows a higher price on an OS engine than our in-store sale price, we will ALWAYS reduce the price to the lower price.

Orders Originating Outside of the United States

In an effort to try and help protect cardholders against identity theft, HeliProz has decided to take steps towards making it more difficult for people to use stolen credit cards on our website.

As of March 1, 2008, we will require all out of country orders to be placed with two options:

1) PayPal: Orders that are placed on the website via PayPal will ship out as normal. PayPal uses a system that verifies cardholder information and addresses before they will allow you to use their services. This makes it very easy for out of country customers to order from us. Click here to be directed to PayPal to set up an account today. This is the most secure way for our customers to order from us and it allows us to process orders without having to ask for more paperwork to be sent for verification as PayPal takes care of all of that at one time so that you never need to provide a company that information again. This is the method we would recommend for our out of country customers.
A note on our PayPal orders: We do not charge a flat rate for packages shipping outside of the country as the charge varies from country to country. Therefore we receive the order and calculate the exact shipping charges for that order. We only charge what the post office charges us, no handling fee. We will send the request for payment once we receive the order (the requests ALWAYS get sent right after we download the orders into our mail order software) so the order can still go out on the same day, as soon as you accept the payment.
2) Credit Cards: If you do not have PayPal and would rather use a credit card to make purchases from our store you will need to provide us with some additional information. Out-of-country credit cards do not have the ability to verify with the same information as in-country cards (ie. address and zip code). In order to verify that you are holding the credit card and that you are the card holder we will require that you either e-mail or fax us a copy of your credit card and a picture id so that we can verify you are the card holder.

Out of Country Shipping Options

We ship out of the country via UPS Express Saver, USPS Express Mail Service, Priority Mail Service, or, on very very small and inexpensive products we can sometimes ship via First Class Mail.

For UPS rates you can log on to www.ups.com. We charge 20% off of the published rate. Please note that UPS charges dimensional weight for air packages. 250-500 size kits are in the 9 pound range, 30-50 size kits are in the 25-30 pound range and 60-90 size kits are in the 35-43 pound range.

 For postal rates you can log on to www.usps.com. This site will tell you cost and time options for each service. Please note that when the site says 3-5 days for Express Mail it means after the package has cleared customs which can take a few more days. We prefer to use EMS or PMI, but on very small (1 pound) and very inexpensive (under $50) orders we will use First Class Mail upon request. This service is not insured and can take a few weeks or more to receive to please be sure that you are willing to take that risk.


Also, be aware that we do take every effort we can to catch thieves when they use stolen credit cards on our website. If we feel that there is a chance a person is trying to use a fraudulent card we will ALWAYS contact authorities and do what we can to a) cancel the credit card and b) catch the person that is trying to use the card. We have already had 3 people arrested for identity theft and we do not plan on letting up on our pursuits anytime soon. So, plain and simply put, do not attempt to use stolen cards on our site as we will pursue legal action AND we will start posting shipping addresses on our website of stolen cards to help other vendors avoid this situation as well.

Payment Terms

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as PayPal, for payment. That's all. We do NOT ship COD, sorry - the added cost is not conducive to our goal of having the best overall pricing. We will accept money orders or certified checks for any order, but suggest you call first to get a shipping quote. Non-certified checks may, at our discretion, be held to verify funds prior to shipping.

Price Matching Policy

We have a lot of customers call us and ask about price matching… It is impossible to say we will 100% price match any vendor on the market due to grey market, blowout pricing on overstocked inventory, bulk items, etc. We will, however, attempt to match any legitimate, brick and mortar, US dealer’s regular prices. If you find something that is priced lower than we are advertising or a combo that we may not have as a combo option but that we could make up for you, give us a call!

We already offer free UPS Ground shipping on all orders over $100, even oversize packages which most vendors do not offer. We will take that into consideration for the overall cost of the package.

As stated before, there are some times that a company may have a spectacular price on blowout items that they are just trying to liquidate and we will probably urge you to take advantage of those prices! If you call about another company’s price, please have the price, company name and shipping price so that we can check it out! As it is, we strive to provide the lowest prices as well as SERVICE, which is something that many of the “too good to be true price” stores do not offer. We are here for YOU and want to provide the perfect balance of excellent pricing AND customer service. So call us up and let us prove it!

Back Orders

We will NEVER CHARGE YOUR CARD for anything on backorder until it is ready to ship to you.

For orders over the web site and on the phone, if you order a product that SHOWS as out of stock, we will ship the in-stock items and treat the backordered items as a separate order including billing for shipping if applicable except we only charge $4 for the backordered shipment if it's under $100.

We are unable to hold backordered items on PayPal orders. If you order something that shows out of stock and you are using PayPal, the item will be deleted from your order and the amount will be refunded to your account.

General Warranty Policy

Most items (electronics, engines, kits, batteries...etc.) that HeliProz sells have a warranty. In the event that an item you purchase requires warranty repair or replacement the item must be returned to the manufacturer/distributor of that item, excludes Mavrikk brand. HeliProz cannot accept defective items for warranty, as the manufacturer/distributor insists on handling all warranty claims. The reason for this policy is that HeliProz is not a service center, and has no facilities for testing, repairing or determining whether an item is in fact, defective. By placing an order with HeliProz, you are agreeing with this policy. If you are unsure who to contact for product warranty, please give us a call.

Battery Warranties

Lithium Polymer batteries are very sensitive to misuse and over discharging. For this reason HeliProz cannot warranty any Lithium Polymer Batteries that we sell. Like electronic items, batteries are usually warrantied by the manufacturer and it is the responsibility of the user to seek any warranty claims with the manufacturer. Please do not return defective/swelled batteries to HeliProz, instead if you feel there is a defect with a lithium polymer battery, please contact the manufacturer for warranty claims.

Damaged Items

If you are not certain that a package is still intact when it arrives, MAKE THE DELIVERY PERSON WAIT while you open the box and verify that the contents survived. Never accept a badly beaten package - from us or anyone else. If there is damage or the shipping box has been broken open and parts are missing, REFUSE delivery and call us. If you have accepted a package and then find that there was damage to an item(s), contact UPS immediately for instructions on filing a claim. In most cases the companies who sell us products require that the end-user be responsible for contacting them if there are missing or damaged parts not caused by shipping. Clearance items are not covered by any warranty through HeliProz, you will need to deal with the manufacturer of that item. By purchasing clearance items you are agreeing to these terms.

IF YOU GET AN ITEM THAT IS DEFECTIVE WHEN YOU OPEN IT - DOA - then CALL for instructions, or e-mail sales@heliproz.com. Normally we will replace it upon return, IF the parts are available to replace it. IF it is a kit missing parts, contact the manufacturer, they all require customers to work directly with them on such issues.

Mistakes and Returns

If WE make a mistake and ship the wrong item, call us for authorization to return the item for exchange or full refund.

If YOU make a mistake and decide you don't want an item or ordered the wrong thing, call us for instructions. Most items can be returned as long as they are in exactly the same condition as when we sent them. Some items do incur a restocking fee, and some items are not returnable if they have been opened. (Would YOU want to buy a radio that someone had messed with? Or a heli that may have missing parts? Me neither!)

Please fill out the Return Authorization Form and include with your order!

ANY item returned will ONLY be credited IF you have PRIOR AUTHORIZATION, all of the original packaging AND the invoice (make a copy) and return the item to our store with all shipping and insurance fees paid. We do not accept any CODs. Unauthorized returns will be refused and you will be charged by your carrier for shipping both ways.

Important Legal Information

R/C Helicopters are not "toys," they are operational helicopters with all the inherent dangers of such devices. Construction and operation of helicopters requires training and caution. HeliProz Inc. makes no claim of guarantee, warranty or any other claim, expressed or implied, that any item purchased is suitable for any purpose including the intended purpose. Further, you specifically agree when placing any order that you will hold HeliProz Inc., its officers, employees and assignees, completely harmless and free of liability for any damage, harm, or claim arising from the purchase, assembly, use or misuse of any product(s) purchased from us. Nothing said, written or implied by any person connected with HeliProz Inc. shall invalidate any of the preceding disclaimer. The purchaser assumes all liability for all potential damages or claims that might arise from the purchase or handling of any items purchased.

HeliProz Inc. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. We may require faxed signatures and copies of credit cards prior to shipping any order.

We are fully aware that you have a choice in where you buy your products. We thank you sincerely for choosing us.

Less Important Legal Information

We are further not responsible for any damage done to purchaser by any spouse or significant other due to purchase of any item(s) from us, either before or after the credit card bill arrives. We assume no responsibility for lost wages or promotions at work caused by your use of hobby products purchased from us. Loss of hair is specifically not our responsibility, even if due to trying to master inverted tail first flight. Damage to mental health is a potential byproduct of flying RC helicopters and we are not liable for that either.

No animals were harmed in producing this business as far as we know, though one of our cats is pretty upset about the long hours we spend at the store. Any similarity to any other person or heli shop is strictly unintentional and not very likely. We have no idea at all whether our products are Y3K compliant.
