Radio South's PRO DRIVERS Without any question the Pro Drivers are THE VERY BEST glow plug lighters on the planet. They were designed for competition pilots, who risk thousands of hours (and dollars!) down the tubes if they can't start their engine when it's time for a contest round. But make no mistake, if you would rather fly than fight with a cranky engine, or waste time trying to start a flooded engine or one with a dead glow plug - the THIS is the device you want in your flight box. There are TWO versions of the Pro Driver - MK 1 and MK II. The only difference between them is that the MK II uses a pushbutton to turn it on for approx. 1-minute before it automatically shuts off. The Pro-Drivers are powered by an internal 4-cell 1300 mAh NiCd pack. That means you have plenty of power for wet engines and MANY starts bewteen charging. Perhaps better yet, if you have a fast (field) charger for your radio's receiver pack, you can use that SAME CHARGER to FAST CHARGE the Pro Driver! The internal electronics sense how much power the plug needs, and if you have a wet engine or thick element it will add power to get the proper glow for starting. You can see how much current is being delivered by looking at the row of green leds - more power = more leds lit. Comes with glow plug clip and includes charge jack wired for Futaba-style RX charge cord.
