If the lithium cell voltage drops below a certain level the cells can become permanently damaged. In order to protect your lithium-polymer investment it is therefore essential to use some kind of monitoring device to alert you when your pack voltage gets too low. The HRPOLY-X, is a tiny device which has an ultra bright red/green LED and super loud sounder to alert you as your pack voltage approaches and meets a user-set low-voltage limit. Far more than a simple voltage detector, this device is a highly sophisticated microprocessor based system which offers digital low voltage cutoff adjustment (no PC required), and automatic cell number.

Installation requires connecting the device to the. When the device is switched on, it indicates the number of cells it has detected both audibly and visually. In normal operating mode, the green/red LED and sounder alert the user when the battery voltage approaches and meets a user set low-voltage limit. The device has three phases of normal operation: when the voltage is above the user set limit by more than a certain margin the LED is solid green, when the voltage is less than this value but higher than the user set limit the LED starts to flash red and the sounder beeps at an increasing rate until the voltage finally reaches the user set limit, when LED is solid red.
