Hirobo Eagle Freya

Kurt now has several cases of fuel through his Freya and it's a VERY good flying heli. The OS .61SXH-WC pulls it through flips and tumbles effortlessly, and the V-Blades fly great and make it auto like it was a pound lighter. There have been no major maintenance issues and no failures of any kind. Almost as easy to build as a Vigor!

The Freya has a pretty nice feature set and a street price well under $700. The best deal is teh kit with carbon fiber V-Blades. The tail rotor is belt drive, but it uses a constant drive split gear system and the belt never seems to slip. Also very nice is the new tail pitch control, using a two-point attach to the slider for superior control and less wear. The fins are too flimsey, we'd suggest the (under $30) MrC Carbon Fin set. Also, the radius block, slide block and 3rd bearing block are recommended upgrades.

The FFZ head has variable Bell-Hiller ratios and allows a range from 19 to 26 degrees of collective. Main frames are molded plastic to lower cost and weight. Tank is located near the CG which always wins points from us. Boom mounted tail servo is standard.

We have a full selection of parts in stock, and the pricing is reasonable for a 60 size heli.
